Summary: Demons do indeed live among us, but most of the time, they are in our heads only. Not in this dingy little apartment complex. Here, the demons are loose, they are diverse, and they are trying to figure out something that could threaten their existence forever. Only one stands a chance of solving the case, and even then, he's not all that popular with everyone else.

History: Demons exist, and they take human form to get by. They feed off of misery and, occasionally, human flesh. But for the most part, they try to remain incognito. Among them is Atum Vine, a particularly grizzled demon who lives alongside an Interpreter named Cornelia, as well as some other demons. They are all panicking because apparently a disease has spread that is causing demons to want to lash out and reveal themselves. Vine is tasked by them to figure it out and investigate beyond the building, but when he starts to find kinship with a young girl, he begins to suspect foul play among his own kind...

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Vine eventually discovers that his own empathy is driving the other demons mad, and in spite of a prophecy that will push him into greatness among demons if he kills that girl, he rejects it. Cornelia is outraged at his humanity, and tries to kill them both. Vine is forced to kill her, but manages to save the girl from her once-inevitable demise. With renowned vigor and some new human friends, Vine goes out into the sunlit city, more than willing to do some good in the world.

Powers/Abilities: All demons can take on human form, though some can see the future. These are the most commonly picked to be Interpreters.

Weakness: Anything conventional. Empathy also causes most to lash out.

Scariness Factor: 4-Many of the demons here are as ugly as can be. They look disturbingly real most of the time, and many of them are just plain unpleasant to be around. But even the fairly normal-looking Cornelia is the worst of them, being fanatically devoted to the horrible nature of demon kind, as well as one of the most violently proactive. Vine on the other hand, while admittingly not exactly the guy who should look in a mirror, is rough around the edges, but he's a lot like Hellboy...a bit too much like Hellboy, if you ask us.

Trivia: -This film was originally meant to be a web series, but the creators saw potential in the premise, and made it a movie. One out of four, apparently. Ehhh...at least it sounds interesting.

-Why are the effects a step above most productions by Uncork'd Entertainment? Because they were done by Tom Woodruff Jr., effects wizard behind many works including "Starship Troopers" and some inductions in the "Alien" franchise. This was his directorial debut.
